Renewable energy projects involve many stakeholders, each with distinct roles, responsibilities, and legal mandates throughout the project lifecycle. Developers build projects, communities provide local knowledge and feedback, local governments represent public interests, national agencies regulate and monitor compliance, and the SE-GRM supports early engagement and fair resolution of concerns.

While these responsibilities differ, successful projects depend on collaboration. No single stakeholder can deliver socially acceptable, environmentally responsible, and economically viable renewable energy projects alone. Every stage of development requires timely information sharing, meaningful participation, and coordinated action.
